The rudeness of it all! Must have been wearing dirty undies

by Vaughan Rivett on September 5, 2009

I hate it when people are just out rude and forget their manners. Sometimes I wonder if they are wearing dirty undies. Maybe if they put a clear pair on they would feel a lot happier.

This morning we ran out of bread at home so my wife sent me off to the shop to get a loaf of bread (I didn’t mind as she was making me a cooked breakfast!). Anyway, I got to the local shop and I went to the counter to pay for the bread. There was no queue so it only took a couple of seconds for the owner to serve me.

I noticed as I was about to be served that a man entered the shop and picked up a newspaper. The owner asked me for the money for the bread and just as I was about to place the money in his hand, the guy with the newspaper put his money for the paper into the owners hand. How rude I thought! Could he not have waited for a couple of seconds.

It would seem that society in New Zealand is letting it standards slip to the point that there is no consideration for anyone except for “Number 1″. I am noticing this sort of behavior more and more.

If only this man used Lotus Notes he would need to be in such a hurry.
